One of the social entrepreneurs from Lithuania - Arunas Survila has had a dream once. It was about revitalization of his childhood summer place - a small town in the northern part of Lithuania - Antaliepte. Years have passed and in 2013 he started from acquisition of the first abandoned buildings in the townlet. Fundding was scarce but his dedication and support from volunteers as well as various donors made his dream come true.
Fast forward into 2019 and we see that Antaliepte is totally different. Arunas brain child - the Innovators Valley now occupies three buildings including a majestic old monastery. Tha landscape around the buildings is taken good care of too. The place provides humble accommodation as well as catering to over 120 people and holds numeruous workshops.
It was big honour to us share some of the advice with Arunas on social entrepreneurship.
Now you can have your training event there or just come and sleep over with your team.
As part of its social mission, the Innovators Valley is providing work-based learning and short term employment to youngsters from a nearby orphanage in Antazave.
